One of the things that professional bloggers do is to hook you with a catchy title, and then talk about something remotely related to that...all to drive traffic to their website. I'm not so good at that...but then, this blog isn't about going viral or driving traffic either, it's just for fun. :-)
It has been on the dryer side this spring in our area, so despite the fact that I know that rain will keep us inside (loud, crazy), I'm so happy that it's raining this morning. We planted 4 trees last fall...and the rain is much needed to keep them alive.
I recently read a book called "The President's Wives" by Margaret Truman. It was fascinating! I continue to find that scandal, corruption, and craziness in politics has been the rule since our country began.
I currently am doing a 30 day challenge...drinking some Young Living Ningia Red every day for better health and vitality.
I have never been very good at taking multivitamins (I hate swallowing pills.) so I thought I'd give this a try. I'd like to have more energy...(yes, I known, "Go To Bed Earlier" and "Eat Healthy Food!" would also benefit). Some people like to add different essential oils to jazz up their "red" or add it to smoothies. I just take it straight.
There are assorted videos on YouTube about the benefits as well that you could check out if you wanted more info.
One of my kids likes the taste so if he's around, he gets some too...otherwise I just keep it for myself. :-)
Lots of potential benefits...which reminds me, I need to go take my morning dose. :-) And if you're interested in more info...leave me a comment and we can get in touch.
In other news around here, it is 7:18. 4 of 6 kids are still in bed. Unheard of! Amazing! (Which makes me think of that scene/song in Fiddler on the Roof..."They Gave Each Other a Pledge"...1 is off to work and 1 is snuggled in on my lap.
Randy is working in the office all week. We are going to be spoiled having Daddy home every night. :-) My summer schedule worked okay yesterday...it will need to be adjusted today because 1) I'm letting them sleep and 2) I'm knocking weeding off the schedule today...The weather turned colder and it is drizzling. I'd drink coffee and watch movies today...but it's not in our best interest for little boys to remain still for that long!
Have a lovely day, y'all!
