- I'm currently reading "Not A Fan" by Kyle Idleman.
- Mark & I are trying to settle into a good routine for doing his schooling...but various appointments keep getting in the way. (We are getting all his work done around those anyway.)
- This week I'm taking care of myself...a physical (first one in years) and a dental appointment. Fun, fun...
- Week 2 of the Homeschool Co-Op was this week. The kids seem to be settling into their classes nicely.
- And that's all for this installment! Have a wonderful day!

Settling Into September
- Now that Labor Day is over, we can start settling into our school schedule/routine.
- Mark and I are trying to settle into our homeschool routine as well. While I've homeschooled for two years, my highschoolers are pretty much self-driven. So working with an elementary student with extra needs is a bit different for me.
- We're also working within the realm of appointments. In fact, one of the things about homeschooling this child is that it makes attending appointments so much easier!
- We have some regular weekly appointments this fall...Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Psychotherapy, in addition to the sporadic orthodontic, dental, and other appointments.
- My two of my homeschooled kids attend a Homeschool Co-Op one day a week as well for 2 classes each. During the one hour, I am the teacher's assistant in "Drawing I". I'm enjoying the class. It reminds me of my 9th grade art class.
- And, I'm resuming my biweekly "Coffee & Play" meetings starting tomorrow! I'm excited to once again regularly meet with my supportive group of friends. :-)
- I'm working hard at being more scheduled in order to get the house work, business work, and school work complete. I admit to being great at making a schedule...and terrible at implementing it, following through with it. So far, though, it is helping me manage my time. The only thing I have been consistently crossing out to do other things is "treadmill"...yeah, I need to work at doing that too!
- So I celebrated a birthday last week. Sunday night I had invited Randy's brother & sister-in-law & daughters over for supper...Randy invited my family to drop by as well. It was lovely to celebrate with all of them!
- I continue to read whenever I can steal a few minutes...both for pleasure and for knowledge.
- Food/Dietary challenges are such a thorn in my flesh...still trying to figure out what's best for my one son...
