It's been a crazy few weeks...but I think things are slowing down a bit. Lovely. Today I did lots of laundry and baking...apple cake, pumpkin bread, and pumpkin cookies.
Tomorrow is another therapy day. Then a friend and I are hosting a "come ask questions about essential oils" event (if you know me in real life and are interested, ask me for details).
Wednesday...more therapy...but not until the afternoon, so I have the entire morning at my leisure. :-)
Thursday. Drop off Josiah for Co-op and pick him up later.
Friday. Take Mark to the dentist to get a cavity filled.
Right now I should be in bed sleeping...but instead I'm blogging, eating a Nutrageous, and watching "The Voice".
So far November looks to be a month with less things scheduled. Guess we'll see what comes!

October
is on the downward slope...headed towards Thanksgiving, Black Friday Sales, Pre-Black Friday Sales, Christmas, and the end of another year.
Yesterday we acquired a treadmill. I have hopes to use it regularly since heat and cold are 2 dominant reasons on my list of doing anything active that would be good for me. :-) Yesterday afternoon I attempted the lowest intensity preprogrammed walk/run. Yeah. I am obviously extremely out of shape, even for a 20 minute low intensity workout!
Last night Randy & I went out. We went to one of our favorite places...Plaza Azteca. Delicious as always!
This coming week is rather crazy, but I'm sure we'll get through it...Family-Based Therapy, X-Ray, Orthodontic Appt., Coffee w/Friends, Orthopedic Doctor appointment, all day training, and a day off of school...

Book Review - The Entitlement Cure

I was excited to be part of the Launch Team for this book. I have very much appreciated other books by Dr. Townsend (and Dr. Cloud with whom he co-wrote "Boundaries" as well). This book was not a disappointment. The book encouraged me both in how I relate to those with entitlement issues and in how I deal with my own feelings of entitlement. I'd definitely recommend it. And today, on Amazon, it is on sale!
**I received a copy of this book for review purposes. My opinions are my own.

October Randomness
Enjoying a gorgeous fall day today! The trees are on the hills around us are still mostly green, but they're starting to darken.
I am quite excited about this week...very minimal obligations = lots of time to catch up around home. This week we have a violin lesson, coffee & play group, occupational therapy, family-based therapy, youth group, and co-op...that's it! We should also pick up a pair of new glasses at some point.
We had a busy weekend. Saturday we celebrated with our friends at a wedding...lovely despite the weather not cooperating with the original plans. Sunday Randy tackled the BICYCLING Fall Classic - 90 mile ride. Despite the chilly weather and wind, he successfully accomplished it! Saturday morning Randy & Josiah went to what was basically a swap-meet/vendor show for biking stuff. I spent some time on the computer ordering pictures and taking advantage of sales. :-)
Now I need to do mounds of laundry and clean up the house...amazing how much it deteriorates after a few days of neglect...
Have a lovely day!
